The Notice specifies that this year, the country plans to add 3000 charging stations and 5000 charging parking spaces in highway service areas, continuously improving the ability to provide charging services along highways. The Notice clarifies the construction tasks of each province and requires the provincial transportation authorities to attach great importance to them, formulate implementation plans, refine task measures, and clarify time nodes to ensure the timely completion of construction tasks.

According to the notice, by the end of this year, the coverage rate of charging stations in highway service areas in areas other than high-altitude and cold regions must reach 100%; The construction, renovation, and expansion of charging infrastructure in highway service areas should be designed, built, and inspected synchronously with the main project, and the construction of charging infrastructure in ordinary national and provincial trunk highway service areas (stations) should be promoted according to local conditions.
